In-Depth Information
8. 2.1.1 Acceptance Criteria
In the user acceptance testing (UAT) report, you must include the acceptance cri-
teria details. The UAT report must conform to acceptance criteria. So it is very
important that you understand all points mentioned in the acceptance criteria
document and prepare for your UAT testing accordingly.
8.2.1.2
Accessibility Testing
Your report should reveal whether accessibility testing is part of your project or not.
If it is, then include an accessibility testing report in your reporting.
8.2.1.3
Status Report
At the end of each phase, you must prepare a project performance report to be
sent to customers and project stakeholders. In this report, include reports for costs,
schedule progress, problems encountered, delayed and on-time tasks completion,
and so on.
8. 2.1.4 Blocked Test Cases
The test report should contain information about all blocked test cases. These
test cases have been blocked because they lack certain preconditions for execut-
ing them. For example, the UI has not been made, a showstopper test case has
not been fixed upon which the test case in question cannot be executed, and
so on.
8.2.1.5
Boundary Value Coverage
How many test cases have been tested with boundary values in your project? The
test report should include information for the number of test cases and the number
of test case where boundary value has been checked.
8.2.1.6
Test Charter
The test manager should include test charter in his test report, providing details
like objective of tests, major benefits, major tasks to be performed, and so on.
Good test charters help in creating a stimulating atmosphere for the team and
stakeholders of the project to achieve better results out of the whole effort put into
the project.
