Chapter 2: Dublin's Vibrant Southside
Your second day in this great city can be spent exploring the other side of Dublin, the South-
side. There is no better way to start the day than by having breakfast at Bewley's Grafton

Now it's time to get back on track. The other side of Dublin, the Southside which is known
to be the affluent side, houses galleries and a posh shopping area along Grafton Street. This
is where you can find trendy, signature shops. The famous bohemian Temple Bar can also
be found here. Not to be missed will be Saint Stephens Green, a delightful park with an in-
triguing history that now provides respite to urban dwellers and visitors alike. The Southside
is also home to Ireland's oldest and most famous university, Trinity College, the Govern-
ment buildings, Dublin Castle, Lansdowne Road Stadium and Christchurch Cathedral and
