8.6.2.6 Merging of tetrahedral meshes
A region of intersection is bounded by cut surfaces, which are patches on the boundary
surface bounded by intersection loops. Each surface patch is given a unique surface label,
and all the triangular facets belonging to this patch will

be given the same surface label or
zone number. All the triangular facets from ∂Ω and

bearing the zone number corre-
