6.3.3 Node smoothing for 3D meshes
The three optimisation schemes for 2D meshes by node shifting, namely, QL, LO and
GETMe smoothing schemes, are generic across dimensions and can be applied to 3D meshes
without much modification. Nothing needs to be changed for the QL smoothing and the
LO schemes except a proper shape measure for the FEs of the 3D mesh. As for the GETMe,
