Confucius Temple
TEMPLE
This well-tended shrine to Kongfuzi (Confucius) is pleasantly cultivated with hectares of
pines and magnolias, amid birdsong. The temple is typically Confucian (introspective, re-
tiring, quiet), but a busy second-hand book market of (largely Chinese-language) books
gets going every Sunday morning.
