Final entry to many museums is generally half an hour to an hour before the
official closing time.

Banks are normally open Monday to Friday from 9am to noon and about 2pm to 4.30pm.
Most banks have 24-hour ATMs. Some branches also open on Saturday morning.

Restaurants are open from 11am to 10pm or later. Fancier places close for an afternoon
break at about 2.30pm before opening again from 5pm to 11pm or later.

Department stores are generally open from 10am to 10pm; smaller boutiques may not
open until noon but generally stay open until 9pm or 10pm.

Some bars open for lunch, others open at about 5pm. Last call is generally 2am, but there
are a handful of places that stay open until dawn.
