Shanghai History Museum

One of Shanghai's top sights, this fun museum charts the city's highs and lows from its
days as a cotton-producing town to its grandiose, opium-wreathed heyday and beyond.
Life-size models of traditional shops are staffed by realistic waxworks and some exhibits
