Examples
Example 1 (Millimetres)
In this example, you will create the part shown below, and then modify it using the Syn-
chronous Modeling tools.
1.
Start
NX 9
and open a part file using the
Model
template
2.
Create the part using the tools and commands in NX.
3.
Click on the 20 mm diameter hole. The context toolbar appears on the hole.
4.
On the context toolbar, click
Edit Parameters
to open the
Hole
dialog.
5.
On the
Hole
dialog, set the hole
Form
to
Counterbored
. Set the
C-Bore Dia-
meter
to 30 and
C-Bore Depth
to 10. Click
OK
to close the dialog.
