Step Five:
With your selection in place, get the
Clone Stamp tool (S) and Option-click
(PC: Alt-click) on a nearby clean area of
the background. Then, just paint over
the stray hairs within your selection (as
shown here). Again, with the selection
in place, you can't accidentally clone
outside of it onto her cheek or neck.
When you're done, press Command-D
(PC: Ctrl-D) to Deselect.
Step Six:
When you do a beauty headshot like
this, you always wind up doing some
retouching to the hair. In this case, there
are some little hair indents (you can see
them here right above her ear), but we
can even those out so they're not notice-
able. Go under the Filter menu and choose
Liquify (the retoucher's secret weapon).
This brings up the Liquify dialog, with
its own set of tools and controls (don't
worry—we're only going to use one tool
here, and we're not even going to touch
the controls on the right side of the dialog).
