In-Depth Information
Step Three:
This brings up the folder on your
computer where Lightroom's Export
actions are stored (as shown here).
Step Four:
Leave that window with your Export
Actions folder open, and in another
window, go to the folder on your com-
puter where your applications are stored
(on a Mac, it's your Applications folder;
on a PC, it's your Program Files folder).
Find your email application, and what
you're going to do next is create an alias
(on a Mac) or a shortcut (on a PC) to that
application (basically, these are pointer
icons that point to the real application).
To create an alias on a Mac, you'd Right-
click on your email application icon, and
from the pop-up menu that appears,
choose Make Alias (as shown here). Your
alias icon will appear right beside your
real email application's icon and it will
have the word “alias” added to the name.
On a PC, to create a shortcut, you'd Right-
click on your email application icon and
choose Create Shortcut from the pop-
up menu. Your shortcut will appear in
the same folder and will have “Shortcut”
added to the name.
