Business Hours

Banks
9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, some Saturday morning.
Cafes, pubs & coffeeshops
Open noon (exact hours vary); most close 1am Sunday to
Thursday, 3am Friday and Saturday.
Clubs
Open around 10pm (exact hours vary); close 4am or 5am Friday and Saturday (a
few hours earlier on weekdays).
Restaurants
Lunch 11am to 2.30pm, dinner 6pm to 10pm.
Shops
Large stores: 9am or 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, noon to 6pm Sunday. Smal-
ler shops: 11am or noon to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday, from 1pm Sunday and Monday (if
open at all). Many shops stay open late (to 9pm) Thursday.
Discount Cards
many museums, canal boat trips, and discounts and freebies at shops, attractions and res-
taurants. It also includes a GVB transit pass. Available at VVV offices and some hotels.
