Set on a busy canalside crossroads between the Amstel and the Red Light District, de
Doelen dates back to 1895 and looks it: carved wooden goat's head, leaded stained-glass
lamps and sand on the floor. But there's a fun, youthful atmosphere, and in fine weather
the tables spill across the street for picture-perfect canal views.
