Once a pathology lab, this big brick complex is now a lab of a different sort, with experi-
mental and art-house film in its two high-tech cinemas, plus avant-garde music in its aud-
itorium. There's also a very good cafe, Lab111; periodically films are screened here too,
and the menu reflects the movie.

This former squat maintains a thriving alternative scene, and hosts underground bands,
many from Amsterdam. There's also an anarchist library and a children's theatre.
