A stone's throw south from gaudy Rembrandtplein,
Utrechtsestraat
is a relaxed artery stocked with enticing
shops, designer bars and cosy eateries - a prime place to wander (assuming the 2012 road construction gets com-
pleted) and discover a great local hang-out. The street's southern end used to terminate at the Utrechtse Poort, a
gate to the nearby city of Utrecht, hence the name.
