Ensure that horizontal scaffolding poles are not too close
to the wall to prevent shuttering being moved.
Other than scaffolding, other useful access equipment includes stepladders, moveable
trestles with height-adjustable platforms, and small folding hop-up platforms (usually
about 45cm high). These 'hop-ups' are perhaps the most useful: they can be easily moved
around and are often in near-constant use by the teams shuttering and placing the hemp-
crete, so it's worth having at least a couple on-site.
