Curved walls
It is possible to cast curved hempcrete walls, by constructing a curved frame and holding
shuttering boards off the frame with spacers in the usual way. In this situation, experiment-
ation is needed to find boards that bend enough to create the desired curve without break-
ing, while remaining stiff enough to hold their shape in a smooth, continuous curve. The
obvious choice for this is a thin ply, but a 15mm wood wool board curves pretty well too.
