In-Depth Information
An important factor in the successful application of biocontrol is an excellent
understanding of the interactions of the plant, plant pathogens, human pathogens, and
commensal organisms. Progress in the fi eld can be optimized through comprehensive
studies accounting for these areas. Work to date suggests that investment in such
research would yield results of benefi t to both the industry and public health.
