The Walk
This walk (which also makes a great bike ride) takes you through some of Beijing's oldest
and most historic
hutong
and reveals as much about the capital as any museum. This was
the heart of imperial Beijing, as well as the former stamping ground of the young Mao Ze-
dong, so there's plenty to see.
