Ming City Wall Ruins Park
CITY WALLS
As late as the early 1950s, Beijing was still a walled city. Now, all that remains of the once
mighty walls is this slender, restored strip within a small park. Follow the footpath that runs
alongside the wall and check out the bullet holes in some of the bricks, a legacy of the 1900
Boxer Rebellion.
