Figure 14.10: The control_Info Worksheet and the Data Layout of the Control Information.
On Figure 14.10 there are four areas highlighted with bold lines around the cells. These bold boxes are not
needed for the tool, but are used here to visually group the data so that it can be easily discussed. Also,
most of the information on this worksheet consists of comments about what the data usage is for the cells.
The following describes what function the groups of cells perform.
Control_info Worksheet - Group 1 - Cells A1 to B3.
The cells A2 and A3 are the only cells that are not comments.
Cell A2 is linked to TextBox1 and holds the value for the current processing year.
Cell A3 is linked to TextBox2 and holds the value for the current processing month.
Control_info Worksheet - Group2 - Cells A5 to A6.
Cell A5 is a comment.
Cell A6 is the value for the CheckBox1 control on the screen.
Control_info Worksheet - Group 3 - Cells A11 to B11.
Cell A11 is not a comment.
Cell A11 is linked to TextBox4 and holds the first part of the value for the current User Work
Project directory path.
The value in this textbox is the root directory of the output path where the code files produced by
this tool will be sent.
This directory is used along with the year, month, and JOB number, as well as program name
values to preserve the SAS code, logs, list, Excel output, and local job files for the JOB_ xx
program when it runs.
