The Excel Project window (Figure 12.3.5) shows that the Macro1 code is stored in Module1 of the
PERSONAL.XLSB workbook. Now we have the beginning SAS code and the Excel ending VBA code of
the project. So, we can run the SAS program listed in Figure 12.3.1 the results are listed below in Figure
12.3.6a.

Figure 12.3.6a shows the way that Excel looks when the *.xml file opens. Note that the heading “Greetings
World” is on two lines in the Excel output file because the PROC PRINT SPLIT= option wrote the label on
two lines. We are almost there, but to get the word “World” into cell “B2” the hot key CNTL-SHIFT-H still
needs to be typed by the user. The result of entering the “HOT-KEY” is shown in Figure 12.3.6b.
