Example 6.3 Writing Data from JMP to Excel
This example will demonstrate how to send data from JMP to Excel (and other file types we have seen
before). Figure 6.4 shows the JMP data window for JMP 11.1 from Example 6.2. The “File” tab has a
“SEND” option and, when it is opened, the “Save JMP File As” menu opens and looks similar to Figure
6.5. The output files can be created as Excel files, comma-separated value files (CSV), tab-delimited files
(TSV), and text files (TXT). Other SAS output formats are also available; and you can select the older
Excel *.xls format for Excel 97-2003 formats.
