İftariye Kameriyesi
During Ramazan, the sultans would enjoy their
iftar
(breaking of the fast) under this gil-
ded canopy overlooking the Bosphorus and Golden Horn (Haliç). These days, it's a popu-
lar location for happy snaps.

Topkapı Palace can be accessed from both the Gülhane and Sultanahmet tram stops, but note that it's a steep
uphill walk from Gülhane.

There are good views from many of the terrace tables in the palace's Konyalı Restaurant, which is located in the
Fourth Court, but the quality of food and level of service leave a lot to be desired.
