For Kids
If you're after a family-friendly city break, İstanbul is the perfect choice. Your
children might whinge about the number of mosques and museums on the daily
itinerary, but they'll be quickly appeased by the fantastic baklava, lokum (Turkish
delight) and dondurma (ice cream; pictured right) to be sampled, not to mention
the castles, underground cisterns and parks to be explored.
Top Tips
Kids under 12 receive free or discounted entry to most museums and monuments.
Kids under seven travel free on public transport.
