leaving from the
ferry dock behind the mosque. These sail to Anadolu Hisarı (Fortress of Asia), the
narrowest point of the Bosphorus and back.
Gözleme & Kümpir Stands
The approach to the ferry dock is crowded with stands selling
gözleme
(thin savoury
crêpe stuffed with cheese, spinach or potato) or
kümpir
(stuffed baked potato). Either
makes a perfect mid-afternoon snack.
