This bar-restaurant attracts a fashionable crowd to the rooftop terrace of the NuPera
Building. Its expansive Golden Horn view is spectacular and the after-dinner club scene is

Dogzstar
It's a three-storey affair, but the compact size (300 persons max) makes for an acoustic
powerhouse. The crowd comprises budding fans or hard-core followers of featured up-
and-coming bands or DJs. The owners give the collected (modest) cover charges to per-
formers and also charge reasonable drink prices. Bravo! There's a terrace where clubbers
cool off in summer.

Tek Yön
This sleek club features the city's largest gay dance floor as well as a garden popular with
smokers and cruisers. The core clientele is hirsute and fashion-challenged. Cuddly bears
abound.
