From the perspective of natural gas supply, domestic natural gas production
mainly concentrates in three oil and gas reservoirs including Talimu Oil and Gas
Field, Southwest Oil and Gas Field and Changqing Oil and Gas field. Imported
natural gas has become a effective supplement to China's natural gas supply. From
the perspective of consumption, natural gas mostly is used in chemical industry and
other industrial application, accounting for more than half of the total consumption.
As the resident income increased lately, citizen's demand for natural gas is on a
sharp rise.
