Mulu featured more than three hundred
animal species and nearly three thousand
plant species, adding incredible natural
diversity to the stunning landscape. he
park comprises primary rainforest, and is
characterized by clear rivers and
high-altitude vegetation, supremely
accessible caves and three dramatic
mountains, including Gunung Mulu
itself and 50m-high, razor-sharp
limestone spikes known as the Pinnacles ,
which offer some of the best (and most
challenging) hiking in all of Borneo.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO
It is quite possible to see the four main
caves in a day, but if you're considering
caving, or one of the treks as well, you'll
need to allow three or four days extra. he
