across the river on the west bank of Sungei
Tahan. he most distant hide to the north
of the resort is the six-bed
Bumbun
Kumbang
, an 11km walk from Kuala
Tahan and the best place to catch sight of
animals, since the number of visitors to
the park scare the wildlife at the hides
closer to the park headquarters.

located about thirty minutes' walk east
from the park headquarters, gives you the
opportunity to rise above the jungle and
spot animals and birds you wouldn't
otherwise see. Only a small group of
people can gain access to the walkway at
any one time. he walkway is a swaying
bridge made from aluminium ladders
bound by rope and set 40m above the
ground, reachable by climbing a sturdy
wooden tower. At 530m, it's one of the
longest walkways of its kind in the world,
taking around 30 minutes to cross, with
gorgeous views and frequent sightings of
grey-banded leaf monkeys and
