Arriving at either the bus station, taxi stand or ferry
terminal on Pengkalan Weld or nearby Swettenham Pier
puts you at the eastern edge of Georgetown, a 15min walk
from the hotels.
By plane Penang International Airport ( T 04 643 0811) is

on the southeastern tip of the island, reachable by buses
#401, #305, #401E from the Pengkalan Weld or the
KOMTAR complex (every 30min 6am-10pm; 40min), or
else by taxi (30min; RM45). From Batu Ferringhi catch bus
#102. The airport is served by Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia,
Cathay Pacific, Firefly, Thai Airline and Singapore Airlines.
