the place to come. Set in a coconut grove facing the beach
on the quiet western side of the island, these bungalows

excellent restaurant (see below), and you could opt for a

bungalows in a garden haven set back from the east coast.
All have hot water and a/c is available. Th e staff are lovely,

by an Indonesian-Austrian couple, set 100m back from the
east coast in a shady garden; all have cold water only and

EATING AND DRINKING
Visitors flock to the northeast corner of the island to enjoy
sunset cocktails on the beach. Pretty coloured lanterns
are strewn along the path to guide your way between
the many beachside bars and restaurants that liven up as
the night goes on. Opening hours vary depending on the
season, but most places serve food from 10/11am until at
least 9.30pm.
