Summary
Gaining a basic understanding of the fundamentals of soil science, electrochemistry and
plant physiology, has given us a more thorough understanding of how the application of
electric fields on soils and plants can bring about changes of enormous benefit! These
changes are real, and understanding the mechanisms and processes involved will not only
help with understanding what's going on, but will also help the reader who is in the role of
grower, researcher and inventor as well.

In the next chapter we'll move on to summarize the positive benefits and applications that
can be realized through electroculture.
