Enterprise Manager would not be complete without a repository database. In Figure 8-10 this is what you specify.
Enter the name of the database server host, the port, Oracle SID or service name, and a sys password. The installer will
need this information to create the repository information. One of the few differences between the installation in 12c
Release 2 to earlier releases is the drop-down field “deployment size”. Here you defined the targeted size of your OEM
deployment. You read earlier in this chapter how Oracle defines a small, medium, and large deployment.
You might get a pop-up with warnings if the installer finds that the database does not meet the requirements. OUI
needs more information to complete the repository schema creation, and you need to fill the missing values in the
next screen, shown in Figure 8-11 .
