4.7.4 World Production of Leafy Vegetables
The world's major producers of leafy vegetables are China and the United States with
China producing 2 to 30 times more than the United States. Other significant produ-
cers are Spain, Italy, India, Japan, Turkey, and France. These countries produce 3 to
