Voice Dictation
Another useful feature of Siri is voice dictation, which allows you to enter text without hav-
ing to use the keyboard. You can search the web, take notes, post an update to Facebook,
and more just by speaking.
To use voice dictation, tap the microphone icon on your on screen keyboard. Then start dic-
tating the text you want Siri to type. It listens to what you say, and types it. The more you
use it the better Siri gets at understanding you.
You can even add punctuation by saying words like “period” or 2 “question mark” when you
reach the end of a sentence.
