Traditionally a low temperature geothermal system is known as a system which
the temperature of geothermal fl uid is below 300 °F. Other than binary cycle sys-
tems that are being utilized for electricity generation, generally the other low-
temperature geothermal systems are being used as direct systems which have other
applications than electricity generation.
