Although the turquoise-and-brown colour theme is a little overpowering, this bright hotel is
in a great location close to both the Danube and Váci utca. There are 80 rooms and one
suite; bathrooms are attractive and some have tubs.

At this very centrally located place, a dozen of the 14 immaculate rooms look down on busy
Kossuth Lajos utca, but they all have double glazing and are quiet. Two rooms face an in-
ternal courtyard. It's well run, well kept and traditionally furnished.

The public areas, guestrooms and suites (of which there are 340) at this high-end hotel re-
main among the classiest in town, even with the advent of so many five-star and boutique
hotels. The two restaurants offer excellent traditional central European cuisine or world-
class Japanese in modern surrounds. There's a lovely spa on the 2nd floor.

This glamorous five-star hotel inhabits one of the impressive neo-baroque Klotild Palaces
that tower over Szabad sajtó út. The hotel has retained some of its period features, such as
the original staircase, but is kitted out throughout in a modern, oriental style (in keeping
with this international chain's theme).
Rooms are opulently dressed, and there's a restaurant and bar, where you can listen to the
hotel's signature Buddha Bar DJs while supping cocktails. The wellness centre is beautifully
designed.
