The main concert halls at this palatial arts centre by the Danube and just opposite the Na-
tional Theatre are the 1700-seat
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall

up to 450 people. Both are purported to have near-perfect acoustics. Students pay 500Ft for
a standing-only ticket one hour before all performances.
