of garden clubs. Inside this former copper factory you'll find a purple-and-gold ground-
floor bar and live music in the small downstairs venue. In the fairy-lit garden, take a seat
in the boat and enjoy a drink adrift in a sea of chattering locals.

Stroll a Nightlife Street
Just across the road, Madách Imre út is usually packed with drinkers and street-food
fans. Numerous bars line the pedestrian alley, but locals favour

grab a bite to eat if you're starting to get peckish. Further along,

spot for a craft beer or two. Just up from here, packed Gozsdu udvar heaves at night
with locals and tourists alike.

Listen to Some Live Music
If you cross Gozsdu udvar and keep on Madách Imre út, you'll emerge at a more low-
gallery, wallpapered with stickers and hosting nightly live music or DJs. If the weather's
warm, the street will be filled with folk hanging out on the pavement with a beer.

Head to a Club
If you're ready to ramp things up a bit, head back towards Gozsdu udvar, where the
basement club at
GMK
has an excellent sound system and a good reputation for quality
DJs and live music. For something more retro, skip down the passage to

, nip up-
stairs and throw yourself into a swing session. If you really want to make it a trip to re-
member, you could always get inked in its on-site tattoo parlour.
