Bātáng Línqiáo Zhùsùbù GUESTHOUSE
( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; 136 5894 8880; 212 Guangdong Lu; dm/s/d ¥30/50/60)
This is the cheapest place allowing foreigners. Rooms are pretty shabby but the common
showers are hot.
Azalea Hotel HOTEL
(, Dùjuānhuā Jiǔdiàn MAP

582 3222; 408 Guangdong Lu; tw/tr ¥288/388;
)
The hotel is ageing but is still a good first choice for clean and comfortable rooms, usually
discounted 20%. There's wi-fi in the lobby.
Post Hotel HOTEL
(, Yóuzhèng Dàjiǔdiàn MAP
GOOGLE MAP ;
588 9666; cnr Xianggang Lu & Guangdong Lu; d/tw
¥200/298; )
The twins are modern and comfortable with carpeted floors, TV, and piping-hot showers in
admittedly slightly grubby bathrooms. Expect discounts of 20% and wi-fi in the lobby. The
front of the hotel always sees a lively group of Tibetans selling medicinal herbs.
Eating
It seemed like half of Bāyī was under construction at the time of writing, and a new eating
and entertainment area was being built alongside the canal in the northern part of town.
Otherwise, head to the main roads for noodle shops, and Guangdong Lu for a row of Hui
Muslim restaurants. For breakfast, look for stacks of steamed dumplings (bāozi; ) sold in
tiny shops on the main roads.
