There's little to see in Lhatse save the renovated Changmoche Monastery at the west-
ern end of town.

Lhatse Tibetan Farmer's Hotel HOTEL
(, Lāzī Nóngmiń Lǚguǎn 832 2333; dm ¥25-45, d without/with bathroom ¥260/90)
Located on the east side of town, this courtyard guesthouse has long been popular with
4WD drivers and guides. The older block of basic rooms with shared bathrooms offers
budget travellers decent value but the back block with modern en suite rooms (solar hot
water) is looking overpriced compared to the competition.
Dewang Manor HOTEL
(, Déwàng Zhuāngyuán 139 8902 7775; d ¥250; )
The old Dewang was completely rebuilt and reinvented in 2014 and the 14 spacious and
modern rooms are now the most comfortable in town. There's a tea room, restaurant,
ground floor bar and lots of Tibetan decor. Back-block rooms are quietest. It's diagonally
across from the Farmer's Hotel.
Yángguāng Shāngwù Bīnguăn HOTEL
( 832 2255; 32 Laozhongni Lu; r/d ¥180/220)
Managed by Hui Muslims from Gānsù, this new hotel is a good value choice. The clean
and fresh carpeted rooms are small, especially the bathrooms, but the heat lamps and rain
showerheads help. It's directly opposite the Farmer's Hotel in the east end of town.
Shànghǎi Hotel of Lāzī HOTEL
(, Lāzī Shànghǎi Dàjiǔdiàn 832 3786; r ¥220-260)
A good value, if slightly dull, midrange option, offering decent mattresses, flush toilets
and hot showers in the spacious bathrooms. The big hotel is obvious on the south side of
the town square.
