Obviously at this price don't expect luxury but do expect a warm welcome and clean, col-
ourful en-suite rooms at this budget hotel of old. The lovely villagey location near Denfert-
Rochereau makes it easy to reach both major airports and Gare du Nord and there's a pretty
table-set garden. The kitchen-equipped apartment sleeps four.
HOSTEL
ALOHA HOSTEL

Avocado-coloured walls are among the rainbow of colours brightening this laidback crash
pad, with a hybrid reception-lounge and stone-walled self-catering kitchen. Cheaper dorms
sleep six to 10, higher-priced dorms just four. Bonus: there's no longer a daytime lock-out or
a curfew. You'll need a credit card to reserve but must pay cash on arrival.
