Opened in 2011, the Citizen is a sign the times are a changin' on the Canal St-Martin. A
team of forward-thinking creative types put their heads together for this one, and the result
is 12 alluring rooms equipped with niceties such as iPads, filtered water and warm minimal-
ist design. Artwork is from Oakland's Creative Growth Art Center for disabled artists.
