The metro is tailor-made for crosstown trips, but to whizz around Paris' perimeter,
hop on the T3 tram. From the Pont du Garigliano, 15e, it currently skims the city's
edge as far as Porte de la Chapelle, 18e. An extension to Porte d'Asnières, 17e, is due
for completion in 2017, encircling some three-quarters of the city. Passengers use
