in Paris, this cheese-lover's nirvana is filled with to-die-for del-
icacies such as St-Félicien with Périgord truffles. Rare, limited-production cheeses include
blue Termignon and Tarentaise goat's cheese. All are appropriately cellared in warm, humid

This outdoor store seems to have colonised the Latin Quarter, with some 25 different outlets
scattered about, each devoted to your favourite sport: climbing, skiing, diving, camping,
biking and so on. While it's a great resource if you need any gear, the many boutiques make
shopping something of a treasure hunt - especially as many outlets change what they sell
with the seasons.
Ask for directions to other branches at this flagship store (or any other that you come
across), which generally sells mountaineering equipment.
