This is one of the most popular of the many Latin Quarter cinemas, featuring classics and
retrospectives looking at the films of such actors and directors as Alfred Hitchcock, Jacques
Tati, Alain Resnais, Frank Capra, Tim Burton and Woody Allen. One of the two salles
(cinemas) has wheelchair access.
A couple of times a month Le Champo screens films for night owls, kicking off at mid-
night (three films plus breakfast €15).

Housed in a medieval caveau (cellar) used as a courtroom and torture chamber during the
Revolution, this club is where virtually all the jazz greats have played since the end of
WWII. It attracts its fair share of tourists, but the atmosphere can be more electric than at
the more serious jazz clubs. Sessions start at 10pm.

Classic jazz concerts kick off at 9.15pm in the atmospheric downstairs cellar of this sophist-
icated jazz venue across from the Jardin du Luxembourg. Everything ranging from Dixie-
land and vocals to big band and swing sets patrons' toes tapping. Dinner is served at 8pm.
