This is the Parisian mecca for fans of
pétanque

boules, a form of bowls played with heavy steel balls wherever a bit of flat and shady
ground can be found. It will kit you out with all the equipment necessary to get a game go-
ing and even has team uniforms.

Watch fanciful 'origami' creations being cut by hand in the studio of Korean de-

Go green with jackets, mules, cowboy boots and
other romantic, natural and urban designs by one of Paris' most talented ecocon-

Every creation of Anne Elisabeth is named
after a river, town, character in a novel or simply something that happens to inspire
this well-travelled Parisian designer of the moment. Printed housecoats and wide
trousers are among her signature 'arty-couture' garments inspired by 1950s and
1960s fashion.
Tue-Sat; Oberkampf)
A hard-core address for getting to the core of Parisian trends, this
studio-boutique of Kate Mack is a real delight. Ogle silver-skinned mannequins model-
ling overtly feminine but funky, femme-fatale designs.
11am-8pm Mon-Sat; St-Sébastian-Froissart)
Extraordinary handmade hat pieces, almost
too exquisite to wear, are made with much love and creative talent by Johanna Brait-
bart in her small Marais atelier.
