Historic Hotel & Cafe

is the setting for Marcel Carné's 1938 film of the
same name, which depicted the intersecting lives of those living in the hotel. Author
Eugène Dabit, whose stories formed the film's basis, once lived here. It's now a book-
lined cafe.
