In one of the best restaurants in the vicinity of the old 'belly of Paris', chef Tomy Gousset's
kitchen crew is working wonders at this cool loft-like space, serving up tantalising creations
that range from seared duck, asparagus and Buddha's hand fruit to rum baba with chantilly
and lime. Some unique ingredients and a new spin for French cuisine.

The most traditional eatery near the former Les Halles marketplace, this boisterous old bis-
tro with red-chequered tablecloths has been run by the same team for 30-some years. If
you've just arrived and are ready to feast on all the French classics - snails in garlic sauce,
veal liver, steak tartare, braised beef cheeks and housemade pâtés - reservations are in order.
