Paris is at its most glamorous along this walk, which takes you from the Arc de Tri-
omphe along the famed av des Champs-Élysées to the opulent Palais Garnier opera
house.
The city's sense of grandeur peaks beneath the mighty 1 Arc de Triomphe . Just
don't try to cross the traffic-choked Étoile (star) roundabout above ground - use the
pedestrian tunnels.
